I do not sell unedited images and do not edit files that are not selected by you during the review.
Session investment is intended for groups of 5 or less, more people may be added to the session for an additional fee of $25 per person. Your sitting fee must be paid in full when booked in order to reserve your time with me. Selected images may be paid for by invoice prior to delivery of your gallery. Pets are welcome but you must provide a handler for your fur baby (if over 10 pounds). The handler may NOT be part of your photo session. This is for the safety of your pet. A handler may be provided by me for an additional $40 fee. Pets must also be leashed per city ordinance.
**Please note that during the summer, if the temperature is going to be above 85°F, your session must be scheduled before 9:30 a.m. or after 5:30 p.m.
I am licensed to photograph within the city of Charleston and the city of Goose Creek. Please keep this in mind when making requests for specific locations not listed below. Sessions that take place in your private home are an exception to this rule.
I will meet you at one of three locations for sessions Downtown.
These parking areas are safe and familiar to me. Rates for parking differ for each garage and is free for Hampton Park.
All photography must be conducted in the public spaces of this city. Trespassing is taken very seriously and while certain areas are breathtakingly beautiful many times they are private property. Early morning sessions (sunrise to 9:30 a.m.) are preferable in the streets of downtown because foot traffic tends to be very sparse during those hours. Charleston tends to be a very hot and muggy city during warmer months and early shoot s are more comfortable overall. Photography is not recommended during garbage collection days (Mondays except after a holiday) due to large trash cans being highly visible up and down each street.
Vehicles will be restricted around Hampton Park during the following hours for exercise-related activities:
In Summer/Spring
Monday – Friday: 4:00pm-8:00pm
Saturdays: 8:00am-12:00pm
Sundays: 1:00-5:00pm
In fall/winter
Saturdays only 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Since parking is a challenge during these hours, I do not schedule sessions at Hampton Park when traffic is restricted.
Marrington Plantation is located in the Naval Weapons Station Charleston and is accessible to authorized personal and their guests. You will arrive at my home studio and be escorted there by me for your session.
Regarding Goose Creek
This area is limited for suitable locations but I recommend the trails in Crowfield Plantation. They are beautiful and accessible by invitation of residents.
General photography may be scheduled on any day of the week if I am available.
Home Studio sessions are limited to certain days for proper cleaning between clients.
Please bring a mask for everyone that is part of your session as this is a requirement when you are not being photographed.
If you have been exposed to someone with cold symptoms or a positive diagnosis of Covid-19, please reschedule with no penalty.
Depending on the purpose and season you may do well to wear most anything appropriate for the weather or the holiday. Here are some suggestions for spring and summer.

FAMILIES-->Don't match too much😣- choose different types of clothing and different shades from the same color palette
Natural or neutral colors such as beige, tan and off white (not bright white!) are always a safe choice when it comes to taking photos outside
Avoid distracting patterns and bold, contrasty colors
AVOID AT ALL COST🟩🌲 anything that resembles the shade of green in the grass or foliage common to your region. Wearing that color will cause you to blend in with the environment and make editing difficult. Charleston doesn't offer us those changing fall colors found in other parts of the U.S and we have some very lush landscape -you will be lost in a sea of green- it's best not to dress to match mother nature.
Remember that bright colors will reflect onto paler skin tones so neon color pallets should be avoided
