Pink Chair Photography is a private, appointment-only portrait studio in Goose Creek, South Carolina, serving Charleston and the surrounding Lowcountry, including Summerville, North Charleston, Hanahan, Mount Pleasant, and Daniel Island. Studio appointments take place in a dedicated professional space, while select photography services are available on location.

What is studio fine art photography?

Studio fine art photography goes beyond a standard portrait. Using deliberate lighting, guided posing, artistic composition, and detailed hand-finishing, I create painterly portraits inspired by classical art and Old Masters techniques.

Fine art sessions are available for individuals, maternity, boudoir, pets, and other appropriate subjects. For clients seeking something more conceptual, custom digital composites and imaginative portrait artwork are also available.

Do you photograph pets in your studio?

Yes. Studio pet portraits are available for clients who want a polished, artistic portrait of their companion. A controlled studio environment allows me to shape the lighting and composition for a classic, fine art, or more traditional portrait style. Please mention your pet when inquiring so we can determine whether the studio setting is a good fit.

Do you offer professional headshots, ERAS portraits, and model comp cards?

Yes. I photograph professional headshots for LinkedIn, corporate websites, executive profiles, speakers, and ERAS medical residency applications. I also offer straightforward studio portraits and model comp card photography for portfolios and casting submissions.

Sessions range from clean, professional headshots to more creative business portraits, depending on your needs. Corporate team headshots are available in the studio or through mobile studio setups for qualifying groups throughout the Charleston area.

Do you photograph homeschool groups and private school co-ops?

Yes. Pink Chair Photography offers classic, school-picture-day-style portraits for homeschool groups and private co-ops in the Charleston area. The experience follows the familiar school portrait format, with individual student portraits and options suited to organized group picture days and yearbook-style school records.

Homeschool coordinators and co-op organizers can inquire about scheduling, group requirements, and portrait arrangements for their students.

Do you offer outdoor portrait sessions in Charleston?

Yes, for select location-based sessions. Outdoor portraits are generally available from late September through early May, when Lowcountry temperatures are more comfortable. During the hottest summer months, photography is focused on the climate-controlled studio and suitable indoor locations.

How far in advance should I book?

Professional headshots may be available within one to two weeks, depending on the schedule. Fine art portraits and seasonal outdoor sessions benefit from booking approximately three weeks in advance. Availability varies, so contact me with your preferred dates.

Do you provide hair and makeup services?

Clients arrive camera-ready, with hair and makeup completed before their appointment. I do not provide or coordinate these services, but I can share a list of local hair and makeup artists upon booking. Arrangements and fees are handled directly with your chosen artist.
