Guided Posing & Classic Portraiture

Designed for small groups (5 or fewer), teens, adults, and calm pets. My style focuses on classic portraiture and deliberate, guided posing rather than candid, high-energy lifestyle sessions.

Session Timing & Heat Notice

  • Golden Light Schedule: Sessions are booked shortly after sunrise or within 2 hours of sunset.
  • Summer Pause: Outdoor sessions are unavailable June through August due to extreme Lowcountry heat and humidity.
  • Historic District Availability: Downtown sessions run from late September through early May.

3. Downtown Charleston Logistics
  • ✨ Best Time to Shoot: Sunrise sessions offer quiet streets, fewer cars, and cleaner backgrounds. Sunset sessions are beautiful but typically much busier with tourist traffic.
  • 🗑️ Trash Collection Days: I schedule around downtown collection days whenever possible to keep historic streets looking their best and garbage-can free in your portraits.
  • 🚗 Parking & Meeting Locations: For easy parking and Historic District access, I recommend the Cumberland Street Garage or St. Philip Street Garage. Hampton Park has dedicated parking, is pet and child friendly, and offers a safer environment than busy street sidewalks.
