Amy G. is a Charleston and Goose Creek–based portrait photographer specializing in studio and environmental portraiture that is both visually compelling and purpose-driven. Her work spans clean, modern headshots; painterly fine art portraits; layered digital composites; and classically posed outdoor imagery, all created with a strong emphasis on lighting, composition, and concept.

Working with creatives, professionals, and individuals seeking portraits with impact, Amy is known for translating ideas into images that command attention and invite conversation. Each session is approached with a balance of technical precision and artistic vision, resulting in portraits that feel distinctive, refined, and enduring.

Amy operates from a private Goose Creek studio designed specifically for controlled, intentional portrait creation. The space allows for focused collaboration, consistent lighting, and a distraction-free environment where the work takes priority. She also offers on-location sessions throughout Charleston and the Lowcountry.

Her work has been widely recognized within the professional photography community. Amy is a two-time Photographer of the Year with the Professional Photographers of South Carolina (2021, 2024) and was named Artist of the Year in 2023. She earned the distinction Grand Imaging Award Finalist with Professional Photographers of America and has earned multiple Imaging Excellence awards.

Amy holds the Master of Photography (M.Photog.) degree from Professional Photographers of America & was named an Associate Fellow by the Professional Photographers of South Carolina in 2024.

She is a current member of the Professional Photographers of America & The American Society of Photographers.
