The Masterpiece: A Singular Charleston Bridal Commission
Mar 20 2026 | By: Pink Chair Photography LLC
In a world of thousands of digital wedding photos, there is a distinct power in one.
While your Charleston wedding photographer is there to document the movement, the guests, and the fleeting moments of your day, my mission is entirely different. I am not a wedding photographer. I am a portrait artist, and my focus is the creation of a single, permanent legacy: The Bridal Masterpiece.
The Art of the Single Portrait
I remember looking at my own gown—the one I had so carefully curated—and wanting more than a snapshot. I wanted to look as though I had sat for an Old World painting. I wanted a piece of history to display at my reception and eventually pass down to my daughter.
I never received that, because the chaos of a wedding day doesn’t allow for eight hours of meticulous, painterly hand-artistry. That is why this commission exists.
This is not "coverage." It is a dedicated, private studio experience designed to produce a finished heirloom for your home and your Charleston wedding reception.
A Gift for the Mother of the Bride
In the Lowcountry, we understand that a wedding is a milestone for the entire family. Beyond your own home, consider the weight of this commission as a mother of the bride gift. To present her with a hand-rendered, framed portrait of this caliber is to give her a memory preserved in its most elevated, classical form.
Commission Details & Availability
This is a specialized service for the bride who values the distinction between a photograph and a piece of fine art.
The Investment ($1295): Includes professional hair and makeup, a private 1-hour guided studio sitting, artistic rendering, a custom-framed 12x18 archival portrait with hand-applied acrylic brushwork, and the full-resolution digital file.
The Schedule: Studio sessions are held Monday–Friday only, concluding by 2:45 PM.
The Location: For those requiring weekend appointments, I offer in-home sessions in Charleston by request (requires a full mobile setup and travel fee).
Reserve Your Date
Because this commission is specifically designed for display at your reception, I must know your ceremony date to ensure your heirloom is hand-delivered in time for its debut.
This is not a session. It is a commission. A piece created not just to remember how you looked—but to hold how it felt.
